We’d like to meet an exceptional chef to join our team at our Borough site on a full time basis. We are kindly requesting that friendly, sociable and experienced chefs who are passionate about people, food, and good old-fashioned chat contact us immediately. Our kitchen is small, run by one chef at the time, and placed very near the customers, so being comfortable with working like the kitchen is a stage and engaging with customers is a must. Our menu is full of delicious brunch items, where an eye for detail is a must and every single dish must be presented with the highest possible standard at all times.

• Are confident with stock control and ordering

We’d like to meet a well-mannered barista. We are kindly requesting that friendly and sociable baristas who are passionate about people, coffee, and good old-fashioned chat contact us immediately.

Experience in quality coffee is a big plus, but not essential as training and development will be provided but the ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple responsibilities and be a team player (an actual one, everyone says they’re a team player), and generally be a good egg.

Why would anyone want to work with us? We’ve been serving coffee since 2014 when we opened our first coffee house on Union Street. Since then we’ve been pluckily trying to reinvent the age-old tradition of serving superb coffee in creative spaces and building a strong connection to our neighbours and community.

What does well-mannered mean? Being well-mannered means remembering names, being friendly to our customers, respectful to our suppliers, and generous to our neighbours. It means being upstanding, behind the counter and in the community. It means always thinking about others.
